Frugal Economy in Italy

25 May 2026 · 17:30 – 18:30 Libreria Egea, Sala Lettura

We are pleased to have presented, together with the author Navi Radjou, the Italian edition of Frugal Economy (Egea), translated by Trivioquadrivio.

In a world marked by growing resource scarcity, how can we rethink the models through which we produce, consume, and grow?

Drawing on over a hundred case studies from a wide range of sectors and countries, Navi Radjou offers concrete examples of B2B sharing, distributed production, and regenerative processes, showing how individuals, businesses, and institutions can help shape economic models that are more efficient, inclusive, and respectful of the planet’s limits. The result is a clear and practical perspective that outlines the conditions and tools needed to reconcile prosperity, social well-being, and environmental protection.

At Libreria Egea (Milano), Radjou discussed with Miriam Allena (Bocconi University – Associate Professor of Administrative Law) and Sergio Iasi (Officine Maccaferri), with moderation by Dario Villa.

We also supported Navi Radjou in his speeches at the Trento Economics Festival, at TED-X Rome Campo dei Fiori and for Bocconi Alumni (Milan).
